COACH ADAMS Sets Pace in Nearly Six-Length Allowance Win

COACH ADAMS notched the third win in his last five starts, with placings in the other two and all in 2018, after taking this one mile allowance by an impressive 5 3/4 lengths at Parx. The 3-year-old son of ALTERNATION didn’t have the best break as he hit the gate, bobbled, but then quickly recovered to grab the lead shortly thereafter. By the time he hit the top of the stretch he was seven lengths in front and cruised home under mild urging. Like this race, COACH ADAMS has a front-running style as his other two wins were on the front end, including a four-length maiden score at Oaklawn Park to kick off this season’s campaign. Lifetime record: 7-3-0-2, $73,620. O/T-Greg Compton. B-Pope McLean.
