POOL WINNER a Nose Back in the G3 Parx Dash

POOL WINNER became BROKEN VOW’s newest 2018 Graded stakes horse after finishing runner-up, beaten a slight nose, in the Grade 3 $200,000 Parx Dash S. The son of BROKEN VOW was sent up to set the pace after a little troubled break racing five furlongs on the turf. He was pressured on the lead around the turn and through the stretch and continued to battle gamely to the wire. Last year at Monmouth, POOL WINNER led start to finish in a five-furlong turf allowance where he set fractions of :20 4/5 and :43 2/5, and won in a final time of :55, just 3/5’s off the course record. He has also placed in the $300,000 G3 Turf Monster S. and put together a five-race winning streak which culminated with a wire-to-wire victory by 2 3/4 lengths in the My Frenchman S.  Lifetime record: 24-7-8-2, $393,528.
