SIX SPOT Rallies On the Outside to Place in The Forego S.

Breaking last in a 12-horse field, SIX SPOT roared down the stretch to place in the Forego S. at Turfway Park, beaten less than two lengths. The son of COWBOY CAL was 10th, nine lengths back after the first half. He went eight wide on the turn and into the stretch and was really gaining on the leader through the stretch, beaten only a head for the runner-up spot. SIX SPOT was coming off a runner-up finish in December in the Prairie Bayou S., only a length off the win. He also placed in the $100,000 Sir Barton S., beaten a length for the win on the Preakness undercard and won an Oaklawn Park Maiden Special Weight by six lengths in his second start.
