Two New Winners and a Repeat Winner

Two-year-old ALTERNATIVE SLEW won her second start taking a six-furlong Maiden Special Weight by 1/2 length. The daughter from the second crop of ALTERNATION rallied on the turn, was three wide into the stretch and put in a strong run down the lane to get the win at Remington Park. Three-year-old MRS HOWELL won her third start taking a Keeneland maiden test by a length. Tracking the pace up close, the filly from the first crop of ALTERNATION swung four wide on the turn and into the stretch, seized the lead near the top of the lane and held off a late closer to get  the victory going seven furlongs on a sloppy, sealed track. Multiple stakes-placed G’S TURN won for the fourth time this year leading all the way to win a seven-furlong allowance by a 1 3/4 lengths. The 3-year-old colt from his sire’s first crop broke alertly from the inside post to grab the lead and remained in front to the wire at Delta Downs.
