FIELD DAY Rallies to Place in Gulfstream’s Texas Glitter in First Stakes Try

A winner here 10 days ago at the same distance, FIELD DAY closed down the stretch to place, just 3/4 length off the winner, in the five-furlong Texas Glitter S. on the turf at Gulfstream Park. The 3-year-old son by BROKEN VOW raced between horses down the backstretch, then had to steady nearing the turn. Back in stride, FIELD DAY was two wide on the turn, was five length back at the top of the lane and closed strongly in a good effort in a race that was won in :55 1/5.
