LORD WINSALOT Puts in Game Stretch Battle to Secure Allowance Victory

Coming off a runner-up finish last out in the $100,000 Storm Cat S., LORD WINSALOT got back on the winning track with this gutsy 1/2-length allowance win. The 4-year-old son of ALTERNATION broke on top in this one mile and 70 yards allowance event to lead by as much as 2 1/2 lengths. He was challenged on the far turn near the quarter pole and the two went head to head until he was able to outduel that one in deep stretch and prevail at Parx. The field included the Dwyer S.-G3 runner-up. LORD WINSALOT has now won or placed in his last eight starts, all this year. Lifetime record: 20-6-4-4, $185,806. O-Tom Coulter. B-Arrowwood Farm, Inc.
