ORAGEUSE Places in WV Senate President’s Cup in Stakes Debut

Coming off a two-length Allowance score on the turf at Churchill Downs last out, ORAGEUSE put in a strong effort to placed in the $75,000 West Virginia Senate President’s Cup S. on the $500,000 West Virginia Derby-G3 undercard. The 4-year-old filly by BROKEN VOW was never more than 3 1/2 lengths back and finished a little over two lengths off the win behind two graded stakes horses. In April, ORAGEUSE placed in a one mile Keeneland turf allowance to recent Modesty H.-G3 winner Juliet Foxtrot (GB) and to another Group-placed horse. Lifetime record: 11-2-3-2, $123,708. O-Jackie D.
