SUN SUMMERS Rallies to Finish a Close Runner-Up in Gulfstream’s Ginger Punch

Having placed in her seasonal debut in the Sunshine Filly and Mare Turf S., finishing just a 1/2-length back after being blocked for most of her stretch run, SUN SUMMERS put is a strong effort down the stretch to be runner-up, only a 1/2-length back in the 1 1/16-mile Ginger Punch S. on the turf at Gulfstream Park. The daughter of BROKEN VOW bumped with another at the start and raced behind the leaders for the first six furlongs.
