We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to care for and exercise two Friesian horses at our farm in Versailles, KY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horse care and riding, along with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Saturday: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Exercise and care for two or more Friesian horses, ensuring they receive proper exercise and attention.
• Warm up and tack up/down the horses for the owner on occasion.
• Manage all aspects of general horse care, including feeding, grooming, tacking up, and wound care.
• Maintain a high standard of turnout for the horses.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the barn, including routine upkeep and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with Friesian horses is desirable. The ability to braid is highly desirable.
• Confident and capable rider, comfortable riding alone and in company.
• Flexible with scheduling and able to manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of horse care and barn management practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of care.
