Incredibolt, a 2-year-old colt by Bolt d’Oro out of Sapphire Spitfire, delivered an impressive performance to break his maiden at Churchill Downs on September 28.

After finishing fourth in his debut at Ellis Park in August, Incredibolt showed sharp improvement in his second start. Breaking well from the rail under a patient ride from Jaime Torres, he settled along the inside before launching a strong move on the far turn. Once clear in the stretch, the Riley Mott trainee surged past the favorite to take command at the sixteenth pole and drew off to win by two lengths, stopping the clock in 1:36.29 for the mile.

Incredibolt is a half-brother to multiple Graded stakes-placed Fire On Time (Not This Time, $500,330).
